Job Description:

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Proposal Operations Manager to oversee and manage proposals of varying sizes and strategic importance within the Space Systems Sector. The manager leads cross-functional teams throughout the proposal development process, ensuring compliance with RFP guidelines (L/M, etc.), organization, and timely delivery. Key responsibilities include managing schedules, overseeing content creation, conducting quality reviews, and ensuring alignment with company policies and customer requirements. The Proposal Operations Manager also serves as a liaison between the proposal team, management, and other functions while educating internal teams on proposal processes and resources.

Essential Functions:

Manage projects or processes with general supervision
Communicate with contacts inside and outside of the department to explain and interpret operational processes, practices, and procedures
Recommend enhancements to systems and processes
Work to achieve operational targets for specific programs and projects with moderate impact on departmental results
Possess comprehensive knowledge of business acquisition and proposal development
Develop broad, cooperative relationships with numerous groups and individuals across functions and teams within the sector
Demonstrate the highest level of personal integrity, professionalism, and work ethic
Deliver a high level of customer service to internal customers
Exhibit meticulous task management and attention to detail
Adapt easily to changing environments and multiple competing demands

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience; Or, a graduate degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience; Or, in lieu of a degree, a minimum of 8 years of prior related experience
Must be able to obtain a Top Secret clearance

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in New York state is $67,000-$124,000. The salary range for this role in Virginia - Greater Washington, D.C. area is $76,500-$141,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. L3Harris also offers a variety of benefits, including health and disability insurance, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, EAP, education assistance, parental leave, paid time off, and company-paid holidays. The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements.
