Job Description:

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Proposal Operations Manager to lead proposals of varying size and importance within the Space Systems Sector. The role manages cross-functional teams through the proposal process, ensuring compliance, organization, and on-time delivery. Key duties include schedule management, content oversight, quality reviews, and alignment with company and customer requirements as well as serving as a liaison and educating teams on proposal processes.

Essential Functions:

Lead cross-functional proposal teams to ensure compliance and on-time delivery
Manage schedules, content development, and quality reviews
Interpret and communicate operational processes across departments
Recommend improvements to proposal and operational systems
Apply strong knowledge of business acquisition and proposal development
Build effective cross-functional partnerships and support internal stakeholders
Maintain high integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail
Adapt to shifting priorities while managing multiple tasks

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience: Or, Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience; Or, in lieu of a degree, a minimum of 8 years of prior related experience
Must be able to obtain a Top Secret clearance

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in New York state is $67,000-$124,000. The salary range for this role in Virginia - Greater Washington, D.C. area is $76,500-$141,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. L3Harris also offers a variety of benefits, including health and disability insurance, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, EAP, education assistance, parental leave, paid time off, and company-paid holidays. The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements.
