Why This Role Matters:

As a Proposal Coordinator at CPL, you will play a critical role in our business development efforts. You'll lead the creation of high-impact proposals, qualifications packages, and interview presentations that showcase our expertise.

Working alongside Pursuit & Proposal Managers, Principals, and technical teams, you'll help shape pursuit strategies, develop compelling content, and produce polished, branded deliverables that support the firm's growth. If you're creative, detail-oriented, and energized by the challenge of pursuing new opportunities, we'd love to hear from you.

What You Will Do:

  • Lead the creation and production of branded proposals, qualifications packages, and pursuit deliverables across multiple practice areas.
  • Develop visually engaging presentations and interview materials that support winning pursuit strategies.
  • Write, edit, and tailor proposal and interview content to align with client needs and project opportunities.
  • Maintain and update project descriptions, resumes, and staff biographies to support proposal readiness.
  • Conduct research and provide support for business development initiatives and strategic pursuits.
  • Participate in client development, marketing, and pursuit strategy meetings.
  • Manage multiple proposals and pursuits of varying size and complexity while ensuring quality and deadline compliance.
  • Identify process improvements and contribute ideas that elevate pursuit outcomes and team effectiveness

What You Bring:

  • Minimum 3+ years of relevant proposal, marketing, or business development experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, English, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficiency in Adobe InDesign.
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop and Acrobat.
  • Previous experience within the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry preferred.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines and in time-sensitive situations.

The rate for this position generally ranges between $60,000 to $80,000 annually. This range is a good faith estimate provided pursuant to the New York Pay Transparency Law. It is based on what a successful New York applicant might be paid and assumes that the successful candidate will be in New York or perform the position from New York. Similar positions located outside of New York will not necessarily receive the same compensation. Actual pay rates may vary from the range, as permitted by New York Equal Pay Transparency Law. Compensation offers will be based on various factors, including operational needs, individual education, qualifications and experience, work location and comparison to employees already in the role, as well as other considerations permitted by law. A potential new employee's pay history will not be used in compensation decisions.
