Job Title: Restaurant & Sales Manager

Position Summary

The Hybrid Restaurant & Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth while ensuring exceptional day-to-day restaurant operations. This role blends front-of-house leadership, guest experience oversight, and proactive sales generation, including group dining, private events, and local business development. The ideal candidate is both operationally strong and sales-driven, with a focus on profitability, guest satisfaction, and team leadership

Key Responsibilities

Restaurant Operations

  • Oversee nightly restaurant operations, ensuring efficient service, quality standards, and cleanliness
  • maintain training and development standards for front-of-house team members to deliver exceptional guest experiences
  • Manage scheduling, labor costs, and staffing levels to align with business demand
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards
  • Monitor food & beverage quality, presentation, and consistency
  • Resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally
  • Participate in EOM reporting

Sales & Revenue Generation

  • Actively solicit new business, including private dining, events, corporate accounts, and group bookings
  • Build and maintain relationships with local businesses, organizations, and community partners
  • Identify opportunities to increase revenue through promotions, events, and strategic partnerships
  • Manage inbound inquiries and convert leads into confirmed business
  • Collaborate with hotel sales team (if applicable) to maximize total property revenue
  • Track and report on sales activity, forecasts, and performance metrics
  • Participate in F&B Leadership meetings, marketing meetings, & community engagement events

Qualifications

  • 3–5+ years of restaurant management experience, with proven sales or business development success
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated ability to drive revenue and build client relationships
  • Experience with event planning, catering sales, or hospitality sales preferred
  • Knowledge of POS systems, reservation platforms, and CRM tools
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays 

Physical Demands

  • Ability to lift and move multiple tables and chairs and podiums weighing up to 80 lbs. through a crowded room.  This position requires considerable physical activity on a continuous basis throughout the shift for room set up and break downs.
  • Ability to grasp, lift and/or carry, or otherwise move or push goods on a hand cart/truck weighing a maximum of 100 lbs.
  • Frequent twisting, bending, stooping, reaching, standing, walking, talking, hearing, seeing, and smiling.
