Job description

Toonen Properties, is seeking a full-time Assistant Property Manager to support leasing, resident relations, and day-to-day property operations in Appleton.
This role is ideal for someone who is organized, customer-focused, and looking to grow in residential property management. You’ll work closely with the Property Manager to ensure smooth operations, high resident satisfaction, and strong leasing performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service to residents and prospective tenants.
  • Answer phones, respond to inquiries, schedule appointments, and greet visitors.
  • Conduct property tours and guide prospects through the leasing process.
  • Explain lease terms, community policies, and resident responsibilities clearly.
  • Assist with move-ins, move-outs, and resident transitions.
  • Support daily administrative and operational tasks.
  • Coordinate maintenance requests, vendor services, and unit turnovers.
  • Perform property inspections to maintain cleanliness, safety, and curb appeal.
  • Assist with marketing efforts to promote vacancies and maximize occupancy.
  • Ensure compliance with Fair Housing laws, landlord-tenant regulations, and company policies.
  • Maintain accurate records within property management software systems.

Qualifications:
  • Experience in leasing, property management, or residential real estate preferred.
  • Strong communication, organization, and customer service skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Experience with property management software is a plus.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (mileage reimbursed).
