Position Overview:
Hays Electrical Services is seeking a detail-oriented Project Scheduler to join our team. The Project Scheduler will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and tracking project schedules for our electrical contracting projects. This role is crucial in ensuring that projects are completed on time, within scope, and on budget by closely monitoring timelines and coordinating with project teams. 
Key Responsibilities: 
  • Develop and manage comprehensive project schedules for electrical contracting projects using industry-standard scheduling software. 
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to define project timelines and milestones. 
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential delays, and provide solutions to keep the project on track. 
  • Regularly update and adjust schedules based on project changes, ensuring accurate reflection of project status. 
  • Conduct schedule reviews with project teams and management to communicate project timelines and any potential risks. 
  • Prepare detailed schedule reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders. 
  • Analyze project schedules to optimize resources and improve efficiency. 
  • Assist in the coordination of resources, materials, and manpower to meet project deadlines. 
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry standards in all scheduling activities. 
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date scheduling documentation and records. 

Qualifications: 
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project scheduling within the construction or electrical contracting industry. 
  • Minimum of 5 years of P6 experience. 
  • Strong Proficiency in Excel. 
  • Strong understanding of project management principles and methodologies. 
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. 
  • Ability to communicate effectively with project teams and stakeholders. 
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy in scheduling and reporting. 
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure. 

Preferred Qualifications:
