Job description

SpecPro Sustainment and Environmental, LLC (SSE) is seeking a Honolulu, HI area-based Project Scheduler to support the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Honolulu District. This position is intended for hires residing in the Honolulu area as working on-site is required.
Project Scheduler will input resource loaded Critical Path Method (CPM) schedules into Primavera P6. The employee shall enter, monitor, and update resource-loaded schedules; conduct resource analysis; conduct critical path analysis; and identify any resulting impacts or opportunities for Government consideration. All schedules shall be developed using a modernized Program and Project Management Information Suite (PROMIS) (Primavera Project Manager/P6 Web), Corps of Engineers Financial Management System (CEFMS), and RMS.
Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Develops schedules using a modernized Program and Project Management Information Suite (PROMIS) (Primavera Project Manager/P6 Web), Corps of Engineers Financial Management System (CEFMS), and RMS.
  • Inputs, monitors, updates, and maintains resource-loaded project events into Primavera P6 CPM schedules.
  • Conducts critical path analysis and identifies any resulting impacts or opportunities for Government consideration.
  • Analyzes proposed change order information for critical path impact and advises Government.

Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Must be a U.S. citizen - required.
  • Minimum of three (3) full years of experience developing, managing, updating, and maintaining schedules in Primavera Project Manager/P6 required.
  • Proficiency in Primavera P6 required on day one, including ability to perform critical path analysis, run reports in Primavera, and have experience in MS Power BI and other MS Applications to develop reports.
  • Proficiency in modernized Program and Project Management Information Suite (PROMIS) (Primavera Project Manager/P6 Web), Corps of Engineers Financial Management System (CEFMS), and RMS required.
  • Understanding of construction practices and ability to read and understand engineering and architectural drawings
  • Strong oral and written communication abilities required.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with USACE systems including PROMIS, RMS, and CEFMS.
  • Experience supporting USACE, NAVFAC, DoD, or other Federal construction programs.

Education and Experience:
  • A minimum of three (3) full years of experience using Primavera Project Manager/P6 required.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Power BI, Excel, and other Microsoft Office applications.

Work Location:
Work location will be the Honolulu USACE District Office, approximately five days per week.

  • Ability to perform desk work for extended periods, including sitting and using a computer.

Work Environment:
