Job Description
Provides Project & Portfolio Management
  • Leads project intake efforts for assigned project portfolio
  • Provides project management services for LCG projects
  • Understands the project portfolio and its associated progress, risks, and challenges
  • Develops an appropriate implementation plan, for the project portfolio, that focuses on current and future functional performance objectives, TCO, compliance with Enterprise Standards and overall results
  • Assists with project issue mitigation when issues are found and assist project managers in finding a resolution
  • Analyzes portfolio performance and recommends changes to achieve goals and proactively identifies opportunities for improvement
  • Uses strong analytical skills including the ability to abstract key trends and issues from complex detail information; resolves problems with ability to look at issues from multiple angles

Strategic Portfolio Management
  • Works to ensure processes, projects and service requests are executed as designed
  • Mentors and assists in implementation of architecture review board standards
  • Ensures the organization is following project lifecycle methodology
  • Examines existing projects and process practices and evaluates for improvement
  • Ensures Agency Five Year Plans are incorporated into intake and project delivery

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's / Master degree in Business, Management Information Technology or related field. Relevant work experience may be substituted for degree requirement.
