Job Summary:

The Manager, Portfolio Management, PLM will oversee technology products supporting R&D and Supply Chain, ensuring alignment with business priorities and enhancing innovation across the organization.
Responsibilities:
• Own the product vision, roadmap, and backlog for the assigned Portfolio and Project Management technology platforms, ensuring cross-functional alignment.
• Partner with R&D, Supply Chain, and other cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into clear user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Lead prioritization decisions to balance business value, compliance, and delivery timelines.
• Serve as the primary point of accountability for product performance, lifecycle management, and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with development teams to support agile delivery, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and release readiness.
• Drive continuous improvement of portfolio management processes, tools, and governance models.
• Monitor product outcomes and KPIs to ensure solutions deliver measurable value to the cross-functional teams.
• Demonstrate Johnson & Johnson’s Credo and leadership behaviors in all interactions.
• Lead the application of AI, advanced analytics, and automation to modernize R&D platforms, accelerating product development, improving scientific and engineering insights, and strengthening end‑to‑end decision‑making while enabling scalable, compliant, and efficient R&D operations from discovery through lifecycle management.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor’s degree required (Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field).
• 6-8 years of experience in technology, digital product management, or clinical systems, with experience at the manager or senior individual contributor level.
• Proven experience as a product owner or product manager for enterprise technology solutions.
• Strong ability to translate business needs into technology requirements.
• Demonstrated stakeholder management and cross‑functional collaboration skills and influence without authority.
• Experience working in regulated industries (e.g., medical devices, pharmaceuticals, life sciences).
• Experience working with agile or hybrid delivery methodologies.
• Language: English proficiency required.
• Travel: Up to 10–15%, primarily domestic.
Preferred:
• Master’s degree (MBA or relevant technical discipline) preferred.
• Experience supporting R&D Product Development technology platforms within a global organization.
