Job description

Position Overviewย ย 

We are seeking an Electrical Project Manager with deep expertise in the design, build-out and commissioning of hyperscale data center white space electrical systems. This role is responsible for translating design intent and client requirements into safe, reliable, and high-quality field execution. You will be onsite daily, leading subcontractors, managing schedules, ensuring quality control, and owning the successful delivery of electrical power distribution systems from upstream critical equipment to IT loads.ย ย 

  • This is a full-time salaried position offering competitive compensation, comprehensive benefits, paid time off, paidย trainingย and performance-based bonuses.ย ย 
  • This position is based in theย Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplexย area and will work onsite for local data center projects.ย Approximately 50% travel outside of theย Texasย area should be expected at times.ย 
Responsibilities

Project Leadership & Execution

  • Own delivery of data center white space electrical projects (scope, schedule, budget, quality)
  • Act as the on-site lead coordinating subcontractors and trades
  • Manage subcontractors from kickoff through closeout
  • Track risks, changes, and ensure alignment with client expectations
  • Lead QA/QC and resolve field issues

Electrical Systems & Design Oversight

  • Oversee design and installation of electrical distribution systems (busway, PDUs, RPPs, STS, etc.)
  • Review drawings, submittals, RFIs, and ensure alignment with project requirements
  • Support development of estimates, BOMs, and design criteria
  • Ensure systems meet code, redundancy, and client standards

Construction, Commissioning & Closeout

  • Oversee field execution, inspections, and trade sequencing
  • Support commissioning, testing, and turnover activities
  • Maintain project documentation, schedules, and reporting
Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years managing mission-critical electrical construction projects (data centers preferred)
  • Strong understanding of electrical distribution systems and redundancy strategies
  • Experience with commissioning, load testing, and power systems (PDUs, RPPs, STS, etc.)
  • Ability to read construction drawings and manage subcontractors
  • Knowledge of NEC, OSHA, and related codes
  • Strong communication and organization skills
  • Willingness to travel
