Job Description:
Join Purdue University Fort Wayne:
We are currently seeking a full-time, on-site, Project Manager in the Continuing Studies Department. This position is responsible for coordinating and supporting the delivery of continuing education, online programs and special events. The pay for this position is $50,000 annually.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Provide class information, answer questions, and offer additional customer service support to students, faculty, staff and public concerning online programs
  • Manage partner programs, employer billing, course expenses, and open enrollment
  • Assist the department with debt collection and tracking
  • Work with university partners to update programs and add new programs as needed
  • Interact with instructors to ensure course attendance is submitted; track course attendance in Enrole.
  • Coordinate and distribute contracts for online faculty in the Fall and Spring and all faculty in the Summer
  • Assist in the coordination and collection of state authorization student data for university's NC-SARA annual reporting
  • Support student workers and faculty supervisors through the Online Assistant hiring process
  • Create, distribute, and summarize attendee course evaluations through Qualtrics
  • Provide support for special projects assigned by director and administrator
  • Oversee, review, and inspect food contracts and permits for Special Events
  • Provide coordinated support for Graduate Studies and Youth Protection
  • Propose and implement new initiatives to increase graduate enrollment

Required Qualifications:
  • Associates degree *experience will be accepted in lieu of education*
  • 2 years of higher education administrative experience
  • Prior experience in continuing education, workforce development, or a related field
  • Strong skills in project management, course demand planning, budgeting, and stakeholder engagement
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications:
  • 5 years of project management experience
  • Bachelors degree *experience will be accepted in lieu of education*
