This yearlong program provides continuous learning and handson development designed to kickstart your career in Construction Project Management.As a Project Associate & Apprentice, you will report directly to a project leader in a clientfacing role that requires strong relationshipbuilding skills both in and out of the office.   • Understand Miller Electric's service-based approach to the electrical project management process.
  • Begin building long term relationships with your clients and fellow employees by earning trust through diligent communication and high-quality work ethic.
  • Support the generation of estimates and proposals to support your team in winning new work, establishing procedures, and scheduling timelines.
  • Develop a strong electrical/material vocabulary and understanding of job site etiquette.
  • Work with your team to ensure the project is built in accordance with design, budget, and schedule.
  • Collaborate with your field leaders to confirm client expectations and coordination with your subcontractors and other trades.
  • Assess construction progress, team needs, and issues through regular project visits with your field supervision. 
  • Work with vendors to ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials.
QualificationsREQUIRED
  • Bachelor's degree or IBEW licensed electrician
  • Strong computer & Microsoft 365 skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Commitment to developing time management and organizational skills
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, hands-on learning environment
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis without employer sponsorship. Employment-based visa sponsorship (including H-1B sponsorship) is not available for this position.

  • Project management experience
