What you bring to the table
Beck is looking for a qualified Project Executive to join an extraordinary project team. While this is an individual role, you will be involved in many facets of construction with the ability to evolve our existing operations. As the Project Executive, you are primarily responsible for business development, organization, project financials, schedule, risk management, quality, overall cost control, and client relationships and needs. You also maintain satisfactory relationships with owners, subcontractors, unions, etc. in order to accomplish the best economical, safe, and expeditious execution of the work. You will be designated the lead Project Executive over vertical projects over $150 million in scope, multiple projects, integrated projects or projects of a very complex nature.


The position involves the following essential functions:
Supervise the work and development of the project team
Delivery excellence and implementation of Best Practices for projects and pursuits valued at $150M+ of revenue (in aggregate for work in progress and/or working backlog).
Leadership in personnel development.
Establish operational priorities and work methods.
Prepare Financial Plans and Status Reports.
Prepare and/or review Safety Plan and monitor safety reports.
Develop and monitor Risk Mitigation Plans.
Develop and/or review Project Schedules and monitor schedule progress reports.
Lead Key Performance Indicator Status Reports and Reviews.
Engage in Business Development activities.
Engage in professional organizations

An ideal candidate will have an interest in the integrated project delivery method and innovation of process improvement and technology.
You also meet the following required skills and experience:
12+ years of relevant experience in Commercial Construction
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
Experience leading a team in response to an RFQ and/or RFP and participating in the client interview process.
Experience leading a team in the preconstruction process, including the development of estimates and GMP proposals, development of General Conditions and General Requirements, constructability reviews, and target value control exercises.
Understands the successful pre-project planning effects on the delivery of a project.
Demonstrated ability to produce phasing plans and project schedules.
Client development and relationship management.
Physical Demands:
Frequently operates a computer and other office productivity equipment; frequently ascends/descends ladders and stairs; constantly works in various outdoor weather conditions; frequently moves equipment up to 50 lbs to various locations on site; constantly communicates with subcontractors, vendors, and other members of the project team; ability to constantly move around job site on uneven surfaces; Spends much of the day standing. Ability to adhere to consistent and timely attendance.
