Job description

Located in Houston TX, Oil States Industries - Acute Technological Services recognizes that our diverse workforce is our greatest asset. ATS is currently looking for qualified candidates for the position of Project Coordinator. Their responsibilities will include working closely with our Project Management team to achieve project goals and objectives. They will perform various tasks to administer and organize all types of projects, from simple to more complex plans.
To succeed in this role, you should have excellent time management and communication skills, as you'll collaborate with clients and internal teams to deliver results on deadlines. Ultimately, the Project Coordinator's duties are to ensure that all projects are completed on time and meet high quality standards.
This is a full time in-person position in Houston, TX.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Interface with internal departments to track and report on progress and deviations from the Project Production Schedule and work to mitigate and/or make up lost time.
  • Maintain and Project Action lists.
  • Maintain and track detailed project budget and communicate budget to appropriate departments.
  • Monitor actual performance to budget and report variances to project manager.
  • Review and approve material purchases and third-party service contracts.
  • Assist with project documentation management.
  • Prepare and submit reports detailing project status as required by the Project Manager.
  • Assist Manufacturing Engineer with basic functions such as word order writing, supplier follow-up, and other tasks for project execution.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
  • BS Degree or equivalent experience in manufacturing environment
  • 5 or more years manufacturing engineer, project management, or equivalent experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic mathematical skills
  • Knowledge of contracts and basic accounting principals
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks
  • Good computer skills (Excel, MS Project, Adobe Acrobat, and Word, etc.)

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Position requires regular activity outdoors and in the shop environment.
  • Position requires in-person attendance.
  • Prolonged Sitting, Standing, or Walking
