About the Role

Convergent Drywall is looking for a detail‐oriented Project Coordinator / Project Engineer to support our estimating team and field operations. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, problem‐solving, and working closely with both office and field teams.

You’ll handle a wide range of responsibilities including invoice entry, production tracking, vendor coordination, and occasional jobsite walk‐throughs. If you’re organized, proactive, and comfortable in a fast‐paced construction environment, this role is a strong fit.

Responsibilities

  • Enter and track invoices to support job cost and profitability reporting
  • Coordinate with field supervisors to collect daily production data and manpower updates
  • Verify material pricing, returns, credits, and resale certificates with vendors
  • Assist with purchase orders, delivery coordination, and material tracking
  • Maintain project documentation, logs, and updated drawing sets
  • Support project managers with RFIs, submittals, change orders, submittals, and closeout items
  • Attend jobsite walk‐throughs to document existing conditions for Estimating
  • Participate in off‐site meetings with clients, vendors, or field teams
  • Help standardize internal processes, templates, and project workflows
  • Maintain organized digital project folders and communication channels

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of construction administration or project coordination experience (preferred)
  • Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred
  • Experience use QuickBooks preferred but not required
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate effectively with field crews, vendors, and project managers
  • Comfortable attending jobsite visits and off‐site meetings
  • Proficiency with Excel, Outlook, and basic project management tools
  • Ability to read construction drawings or willingness to learn
  • Self‐starter who can manage multiple tasks and deadlines
