While the Project Manager is responsible for overall project planning, decision-making, and stakeholder communication, the Project Coordinator typically handles day-to-day logistics, schedules meetings, tracks progress, and manages documentation. This collaboration allows the Project Manager to focus on strategic oversight while relying on the Coordinator for operational support, making effective communication and teamwork essential for project success.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a project coordinator or project manager, and why are they important?

Familiarity with project management software like Microsoft Project, Asana, or Trello is important for tracking tasks, timelines, and budgets. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership abilities help you coordinate teams and manage stakeholder expectations effectively. These skills ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget, and with satisfactory team collaboration.
