They have an expert ability to analyze, recognize, and execute high-performance design solutions while maintaining the overall financial outcomes for the project budget and internal staff plan. -This position is available at any of our JLG Office locations: Minneapolis MN, Fargo ND, Grand Forks ND, Bismarck ND, Sioux Falls SD, Alexandria MN, St Cloud MN, Rapid City SD, and Williston ND.

Responsibilities

  • Bi-weekly review of project deliverables demonstrated through shared 'redlines' with Team Lead Manager.
  • Demonstrated understanding of managing team sizes of up to 20, including consultants.
  • Accountable for consultant coordination milestones and timelines.
  • Coordinate entire team throughout the design process with a demonstrated ability to recognize and execute correct, compliant, high-performance solutions and meet/exceed client expectations within provided staff plan.
  • Accountable for project budget and schedule alignment with Project Manager and Principal In Charge
  • Accountable for full project deliverables. Candidates may be asked to sign for projects.
  • Train and mentor Job Captains and Project Associates through continual project peer review and invest in their growth through delegated project experiences.
  • Accountable for construction administration phase outcomes demonstrated through JLG change order benchmarks.
  • Lead Framework for Design Excellence efforts on projects through critical analysis of design solutions and utilization of sustainability software.
  • Accountable for solutions to problems that maintain the design intent, are code compliant, and demonstrate a full understanding of best construction practices.
  • Project Architects must conduct themselves with utmost integrity and set an example of JLGer behavior. They complete work in a timely fashion at the highest standards of quality.
  • All other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • 3-5 years of architecture experience, 3+ years of experience in multifamily housing sector specifically
  • Bachelorโ€™s or Masterโ€™s of Architecture from an accredited university and current architectural registration/licensure.
  • Expert knowledge of project budget management demonstrated through accountability to financial outcomes for all ongoing project work.
  • Expert knowledge of building codes, building science, and constructability.

Preferred:

  • Ability to provide job functions on projects up to $100 M.
  • Preferred total project portfolio demonstrating experience of minimum $350 M in construction value.
