Job Description:

The Corporate Real Estate Project Manager is responsible for leading and executing corporate real estate projects across the enterprise, including signage rebranding initiatives, office relocations, closures, tenant improvements, and facility buildouts. This role manages projects from inception through closeout, ensuring successful delivery within scope, schedule, budget, and quality expectations. During the initial phase of this role, a significant portion of project activity will focus on managing a nationwide signage rebranding initiative across the corporate real estate portfolio.

This position is located in our Minnetonka office with the potential of going hybrid in the future.

On a regular basis, you will:

  • Lead enterprise signage rebranding initiatives across a nationwide real estate portfolio, managing vendor performance and project delivery to ensure compliance with scope, schedule, budget, quality standards, landlord requirements, permitting obligations, and corporate branding requirements through project closeout
  • Develop and manage a portfolio of corporate real estate projects, including office relocations, closures, consolidations, tenant improvements, buildouts, occupancy initiatives, signage programs, and capital improvement projects
  • Manage all phases of project delivery from inception through closeout, including planning, design, budgeting, scheduling, permitting, construction, occupancy, vendor management, furniture installation, stakeholder communication, and post-project evaluation, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget
  • Ensure compliance with applicable environmental, health, safety, access control, and fire/life safety standards
  • Coordinate project requirements, approvals, and communication among Real Estate, Legal, Procurement, Finance, IT, Security, Human Resources, business leaders, landlords, property managers, design consultants, and contractors
  • Develop project budgets, capital forecasts, cash-flow projections, and financial reporting; monitor project costs and identify value engineering opportunities to maximize project outcomes
  • Participate in proposal presentations, representing Old Republic's vision, mission, and experience
  • Support lease negotiations by providing construction timelines, cost estimates, and buildout constraints
  • Manage project risks through proactive issue identification, mitigation planning, and timely resolution
  • Champion a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement
  • Lead project meetings and maintain accurate project schedules, milestones, documentation, and reporting to ensure stakeholder alignment and data integrity
  • Support Real Estate and Facilities Manager with all lease portfolio projects

Knowledge and Skills Required to be successful in this role:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Real Estate, Architecture, Project Management, or a related field preferred
  • 8+ years of progressive experience leading commercial real estate projects, office relocations, closures, tenant improvements, construction projects, signage rebranding initiatives, and/or similar occupancy programs
  • PMP certification or equivalent project management credential preferred
  • Proficiency with project management software such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, or similar applications
  • Experience with CoStar or similar lease and real estate management platforms preferred
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural, engineering, construction, and MEP drawings and specifications
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills, with ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects
  • Exceptional risk assessment and problem-solving skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment

The estimated pay range stated represents the typical pay range for this position or similarly employed employees or employees performing substantially similar work. Factors which may be used to determine the actual pay rate may include, but are not limited to, education, training or experience; seniority; merit and work performance; quantity or quality of production; regional differences in compensation; differences in local minimum wages, or ability and effort.

Position's Pay Range:

$85,000 - $95,000
