Job description

Exciting and highly rewarding opportunity for a Senior Civil Rail Project Manager looking to join the Rail team in Seattle! This is a hybrid position with working three days in the office and two days remote.

Responsibilities:

  • 80% project management and 20% marketing
  • Lead complex rail/transit projects
  • Assist with business development
  • Serve as primary technical authority on railroad/rail transit initiatives (develop transit infrastructure, maintenance facilities, electrical facilities, stations, and operation facilities)
  • Adhere to industry codes and client expectations
  • Control budgets, timelines, and deliverables
  • Direct development of drawings, specifications, cost estimates, and engineering documentation
  • Conduct quality assurance reviews across all project phases
  • Maintain direct client contact
  • Participate in field investigations, site assessments and design coordination meetings
  • Responsible for engineering services including RFI responses, contractor submittal reviews, as-built record support, and field inspection activities
  • Mentor/train junior staff


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering
  • 8+ years of leading large multi-disciplinary projects
  • 5+ years of transit, rail, or transportation infrastructure projects (stations, maintenance facilities, electrical systems)
  • PE License in Washington preferred
  • Proven project management expertise
  • Strong technical background in transit/rail engineering
  • Professional project management credential or equivalent training preferred


Salary is commensurate with experience.
