Accounting Assistant- (Corporate Office |San Diego, CA 92123)  - Part Time

What We Are Looking For:
We are seeking an Accounting Assistant to provide comprehensive administrative and accounting support by managing invoices, accounts payable processes, vendor compliance and onboarding, records management, reporting, office operations, and cross-functional communication to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant financial and operational activities.

This on-site position will be at our corporate location in San Diego, CA 92123.

This is a part-time position. Pay range: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Process and manage utility bills, invoices, accounts payable, filing, reporting, and document distribution.
  • Coordinate with vendors, owners, and internal departments to ensure compliance, accurate records, and timely payments.
  • Set up and maintain vendor and owner information in Yardi and Vendor Credentialing systems, including compliance monitoring and onboarding support.
  • Assist with 1099 corrections, owner indemnity forms, and vendor payment processes.
  • Respond to calls and emails within 48 hours and collaborate with team members to ensure accurate, timely completion of projects.
  • Support office operations by managing supplies, filing systems, department rosters, and special events.
  • Maintain records storage, retention, and archival processes.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Who You Are: (Requirements of the Position)

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • 1-2 years of Customer Service experience preferred
  • Organizational skills that reflect ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail
  • You have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact with residents, vendors, and team members professionally.
  • You are proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
