As an Account Executive, you bring deep expertise in programmatic and CTV advertising with a consultative, solutions-driven sales approach. This role is designed for a revenue-driven seller who thrives in collaborative, fast-moving environments while also demonstrating the ability to work independently to achieve results within your Hold Co. You will be responsible for maintaining, building, and exceeding advertising revenue goals across the digital portfolio, leveraging your programmatic knowledge to deliver innovative solutions, unlock new opportunities, and navigate an evolving marketplace.
You are:
  • Results Driven
    • Consistently meet or exceed established revenue targets on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
    • Proven capability to sell CTV, sponsorships, and tentpoles across the full streaming ecosystem, leveraging both DIO and Programmatic.
    • Manage a Hold Co programmatic sales pipeline-including forecasting, prospecting, pipeline management, reporting and long-term revenue growth.
    • Proactively uncover new streaming sales opportunities.
    • Establish and cultivate relationships with clients by conducting a high volume of face-to-face calls.
  • Consultative Sales Executive
    • Collaborate across platforms within your Hold Co (including cable, broadcast, and sports) to generate revenue across the Paramount portfolio product suite to deliver holistic client solutions.
    • Act as a trusted advisor to your clients and key point of contact both internally and externally.
    • Bring proactive, consultative solutions to your clients by leveraging Paramount's sales products and delivering strategic insights through QBRs.
  • Programmatic Proficient
    • Programmatic is a fast-moving space and is a crucial component of Paramount's Streaming offering. It's imperative to stay ahead of industry trends by actively engaging in events, training, and trade publications.
    • Confidently lead conversations about the programmatic landscape (SSP/DSP Marketplaces) and direct 1:1 advertiser/agency strategies.
  • Lead by Example
    • AM Management & Development
      • In partnership with AM Management, work closely with and mentor your AM sales partner to deliver best in class client servicing pre and post sale, including Deal Set up, Deal Management and Post Campaign QBRs.
      • Collaborate with AM Management to ensure assigned AMs have clear day-to-day direction, real-time feedback and development support to foster team growth, motivation, and performance.

Basic Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of advertising and programmatic streaming sales experience, with direct experience in programmatic roles at publishers, ad tech firms, or platform companies.

  • Have a strong desire to win and grow as a streaming ad sales professional.
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills.
  • Well-developed presentation skills that demonstrate a command of our business, offerings and client needs.

  • BS/BA degree, or equivalent training and experience.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Hiring Salary Range: $93,000.00 - 165,600.00.
The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York City, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement. This position is eligible to earn sales incentive compensation.
