About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Manager, Digital Marketing to serve as a Paid Search subject matter expert and lead stakeholder across our digital marketing channels.  In close collaboration with the Director, Demand Generation, you will own strategy, budget, and performance for Paid Search while providing strategic oversight of PPL, Paid Social, and Programmatic. 

This role manages a team, including an individual contributor-level Manager and Specialist, and requires the ability to go deep on Paid Search execution while driving strategy across adjacent channels through your direct reports. This is a leadership role for someone who has run Paid Search at scale and is ready to set channel strategy and support execution for a broader team. 

Your Area of Focus
  • Own strategy, budget, and performance for Paid Search, including bid strategy, account structure, and platform optimization
  • Direct strategy and set performance standards for PPL, Paid Social, and Programmatic, executed by direct reports 
  • Set QA standards and escalation paths for core campaign set-ups; delegating hands-on execution to your team
  • Own in-depth reporting for campaign success across all owned channels and communicate wins/optimization opportunities to senior leaders
  • Manage the collective digital marketing budget and allocate resources across channels and team members to hit business goals
  • Manage and develop a team of marketers, providing coaching, feedback, and career growth support
  • Partner with the Director, Demand Generation to establish program KPIs and performance metrics
  • Analyze market trends, customer insights, and competitive landscape to identify growth opportunities 
  • Manage relationships with external partners, agencies, and vendors
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align digital marketing strategy with broader organizational strategies
Your Professional Qualifications
  • 6+ years of digital marketing experience with deep hands-on expertise in Paid Search (Google Ads, Microsoft Ads), including management of high-budget campaigns, bid strategy and automation, and keyword and account structure at scale. 
  • Working strategic knowledge of PPL, Programmatic, video, and paid social sufficient to set strategy and QA outcomes
  • 2+ years managing individual contributors with demonstrated ability to set channel strategy while delegating execution
  • Proven track record translating channel performance into strategic recommendations for senior stakeholders
  • Experience with marketing platforms like Google Analytics, SA360, Salesforce, Tableau, Marketo, etc.
  • Excellent project management and relationship management skills; ability to delegate execution while retaining accountability for outcomes
  • Familiarity with 1st party targeting, audience segmentation, and floodlight/campaign/creative tracking implementation
  • Experience in either healthcare, technology, or both is preferred, but not required
