Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Tester with strong electronics troubleshooting experience to support testing, validation, and manufacturing operations. This role works cross-functionally with Engineering, Quality, and Production to ensure high-performance standards across power systems and electronic assemblies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Test and troubleshoot Static Switches, UPS systems, RPPs, and PDUs

  • Diagnose issues across low and high power systems, including 600V–208V 3-phase applications

  • Perform advanced board-level troubleshooting and electronics testing

  • Set up, operate, and maintain electronic test equipment (power meters, oscilloscopes, etc.)

  • Support PCBA programming and validation activities

  • Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, ECNs, and technical documentation

  • Collaborate closely with Engineering, Quality, and Process teams to resolve defects

  • Partner with Production to address manufacturing and performance issues

  • Report discrepancies in drawings, schematics, or processes

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized 6S-compliant work environment

  • Participate in continuous improvement and Lean initiatives (5S, Kaizen, RCA)

  • Contribute to cross-functional teams and continuous process improvements

  • Work independently with minimal supervision while keeping leadership informed

  • Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed

Qualifications & Experience

  • Associate degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent hands-on experience

  • 3–5 years of experience in electronics testing and troubleshooting

  • Experience with high power 3-phase systems preferred

  • 2+ years in a manufacturing or test lab environment preferred

  • Strong understanding of electrical/electronic principles and technology

  • Proficiency using test equipment and diagnostic tools

  • Ability to construct, modify, and maintain test setups

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills

  • Ability to troubleshoot down to the board/component level

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, SAP, and related systems

  • Experience with harnessing and wiring required

  • Knowledge of voltage, current, transformer, and power calculations

  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail

  • Effective communication skills (written and verbal)

  • Team-oriented mindset with strong interpersonal skills

  • Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles


Pay Details: $27.00 per hour
