POSITION SUMMARY:

This position is responsible for hydro tests and calibration of ProMinent Systems (skids) to ensure that there are no leaks in the piping and that the calibration capacity meets the Engineering requirements. Ensure all pumps and equipment work as specified and ensure that the drawings are correct.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

**Primary Responsibilities:

**

  • Ensure that the Test Department’s job schedule is in-sync with the Production/Engineering departments’ scheduling requirements;

  • Bring inaccuracies with drawings and shop paperwork to the attention of the Test Supervisor and appropriate Engineering staff;

  • Functional testing of systems, pump calibrations, and pressure testing;

  • Maintain appropriate quality control records, test forms and time logs;

  • Labeling/tagging of systems;

  • Confirm that the pulled parts with the order’s Bills of Materials. Store the order’s spare parts in the Test Department and ensure they are shipped with the skid(s);

  • Maintain Department tools appropriately;

  • Always follows safety procedures;

  • Perform quick, minor repairs on skids as agreed;

  • Report failed parts to QC for NCMR processing;

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • One-year manufacturing work experience;

  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent;

  • Mechanical aptitude, understanding various forms of measurement;

  • Ability to lift 75 pounds;

  • Manual dexterity and skill in use of hand tools;

  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities;

  • Work independently and with others;

  • Able to work overtime as required and work in other departments as required;

  • Mathematical

    ¨NBSP;

    skills;

  • Mechanical aptitude with the ability to analyze mechanical and electro/mechanical system failures and to work with schematic drawings;

  • Must be able to obtain upon request in-house forklift and vehicle certifications;

  • Position requires constant physical movement (standing, bending, kneeling, stretching) in order to handle all functions of position;
