Project Summary

The Program Manager will lead Government-side program management for an Enterprise Platform Transition Program Management and Data Migration Support effort, a 10-month program supporting the transition to an integrated education platform and federal Impact Level 4 (IL4) environment. The Program Manager will serve as the primary point of contact to the Government COR and provide overall leadership and coordination across concurrent workstreams supporting Information Systems, human resources, and communications migrations, with all three domains targeted for operational go-live by July 2027.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the Integrated Master Schedule, cross-domain dependencies, risks, issues, decisions, program governance, quality, and Government coordination.

  • Lead program reporting and stage-gate readiness activities, coordinate cutover and stabilization planning, and provide leadership with evidence-based assessments of progress, readiness, schedule impacts, recovery options, and go-live recommendations.

  • Coordinate closely with functional, data migration, testing, change management, and technical teams to keep the overall transition aligned and on schedule.

Required For This Opportunity
  • Demonstrated experience managing a multi-workstream enterprise system implementation or migration of comparable scale in a Federal or DoD environment.

  • Active Secret clearance.

  • Experience developing and managing integrated schedules, critical paths, dependencies, risks/issues, decision logs, executive reporting, and recovery planning for complex programs.

  • Experience coordinating multiple technical and functional workstreams and working directly with Federal Government stakeholders and senior leadership.

  • Experience supporting stage-gate, cutover, migration-readiness, testing, and go-live decisions for enterprise implementations or migrations.

  • Strong program governance, leadership, communication, documentation, and quality-management skills.

  • Ability to support periodic in-person meetings in Alexandria, VA, as directed by the Government, and cutover activities outside core hours when required.

At AIS, we are committed to offering competitive and fair compensation that reflects the skills, experience, and contributions of each team member.
