Direct/Manage/Supervise the design and implementation of programs that carry out the mission of the university. Develop strategies and goals to create programs offering the greatest impact to the community. Determine short- and long-term program plans to meet organization goals. Oversee the coordination and daily work activities of the programs. Represent the interest of assigned program participants, both inside and outside of the university. Manage volunteers, members, and staff. Second-level manager. Manage the activities of first-level managers and/or supervisors. Responsible for hiring, firing, performance appraisals, and pay reviews. Broad knowledge of the field with proven leadership skills.

Responsibilities
Program Leadership & Execution
- Lead the planning, design, and implementation of assigned programs, ensuring alignment with Goff's mission and strategic priorities
- Oversee day-to-day program operations, including timelines, logistics, and stakeholder coordination
- Ensure a high-quality, consistent experience for students, partners, and participants across programs
- Identify opportunities to improve, scale, or evolve programs based on feedback and outcomes
Student Experience & Engagement
- Support and/or oversee student leaders, ambassadors, or program participants, fostering engagement and development
- Contribute to creating a cohesive and impactful student experience across programs
- Partner with internal team members to ensure alignment between program delivery and broader student experience goals
Partnerships & External Engagement (scope may vary based on experience)
- Build and maintain relationships with select community and campus partners to support program success
- Collaborate with partners to identify opportunities for engagement, projects, or program development
- Represent Goff in interactions with external stakeholders as appropriate
Team & Operational Collaboration
- Work closely with team members across marketing, operations, and leadership to ensure effective program delivery
- Contribute to cross-functional efforts that enhance program quality, efficiency, and impact
- Support coordination of program-related communications, data tracking, and reporting as needed
Strategic Contribution & Continuous Improvement
- Contribute insights and recommendations to strengthen programs and expand Goff's impact
- Take initiative in identifying gaps, testing new ideas, and advancing opportunities aligned with Goff's mission
- Adapt to evolving priorities and take on new areas of responsibility as the Institute grows
Minimum Qualifications
EQUIVALENCY STATEMENT: 1 year of higher education can be substituted for 1 year of directly related work experience (Example: bachelor's degree = 4 years of directly related work experience).
Requires a bachelor's (or equivalency) + 8 years or a master's (or equivalency) + 6 years of directly related work experience.

- Strong program or project management experience, ideally in education, nonprofit, or community-based settings

- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
