Job Description Summary
The Customer Programs team is focused on providing excellent customer experiences and delivering programs that benefit AES Indiana's customers and communities. At AES, our mission is to accelerate the future of energy, and as part of the team, this role will help accomplish that by advancing energy efficiency and demand response initiatives with our customers in central Indiana.
The Program Manager will be responsible for a portfolio of customer-facing demand side management products/programs. This role will help establish and maintain vendor relationships to assist in product/program delivery, work with customers to facilitate energy efficiency and demand response (DR) program participation within AES Indiana's territory. DR adoption is growing, so a strong candidate will also help support and launch new DR customer products and services and support the development and continuous improvement of AES Indiana's customer program experience.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Manage assigned Energy Efficiency/Demand Response customer programs to meet objectives within budget.
  • Manage and oversee third party implementation vendors to ensure contract compliance.
  • Develop and implement marketing/promotional materials and campaigns necessary to achieve program success and Company objectives.
  • Monitor and track Customer Satisfaction results identifying leading indicators and recommending program modifications to achieve expected Customer Satisfaction results.
  • Track and manage all applicable program key performance indicators.
  • Assist in strategy, planning and evaluation of assigned customer programs.
  • Maintain & strengthen external relationships with trade industries related to applicable customer programs.
  • Continuously improve programs to enhance customer satisfaction and customer experience.

BASIC REQUIREMENTS:
  • Degreed candidates must have 4 years of program management experience.
  • Demand Response program experience.

PREFERRED SKILLS:
  • Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Marketing, or other related discipline from an accredited college/university.
  • Self-starter with the ability to function with a minimum of supervision.
  • Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Suite
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Organizational skills, ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines.
  • Data analysis skills (e.g., Excel/Power BI) to track and interpret program KPIs, customer satisfaction metrics, and budget/performance trends; ability to translate insights into actionable program improvements.
  • Experience in managing demand side management programs or energy management projects a plus.
