Position Overview:

The Regional Clinical Director (RCD) serves as the clinical and administrative senior for an assigned region, overseeing BCBAs, BCaBAs, RBTs, and clinical interns. In this leadership role, youโ€™ll mentor clinicians, guide program quality, and collaborate closely with our Senior Clinical Director and Director of Operations to ensure that services align with both client needs and organizational goals. This is a hands-on leadership role for a clinical professional who is passionate about building strong teams, optimizing outcomes, and creating a supportive, inclusive culture.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Clinical Supervision & Mentorship: Provide supervision and individualized mentorship to BCBAs and BCaBAs; support professional growth and clinical decision-making.
  • Quality Assurance: Oversee the development, accuracy, and compliance of FBAs, BIPs, and treatment plans. Conduct data audits, fidelity checks, and monitor clinical integrity across cases.
  • Family & Stakeholder Communication: Maintain regular communication with families and support teams to address questions, concerns, and progress, ensuring satisfaction and transparency.
  • Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Work in partnership with the operations division to support appropriate case assignments, onboarding, and team alignment.
  • Leadership Development & Training: Support hiring, orientation, and mentorship of new team members and clinical interns. Facilitate clinical trainings and enforce internal policies and procedures.
  • Operational Partnership: Participate in staffing audits, productivity tracking, and clinic walkthroughs. Ensure region-wide compliance with state regulations, payer expectations, and BACB guidelines.


Compensation (Based on Experience & Education):

Pay: $87,000 - $105,000 (salary)

Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • Masterโ€™s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or related field.
  • Active BCBA certification in good standing.
  • Minimum 3 years of BCBA experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Strong working knowledge of Virgina Medicaid and insurance requirements.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and team leadership skills.
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel within the assigned region.
  • Proficiency in CentralReach and ABA data systems (preferred).
  • Experience with interdisciplinary teams, IEP meetings, and school-based services (preferred).
  • Safety-Care or CPI certification preferred (preferred).
