SUMMARY:
The Program Development Consultant is an integral part of the development of new programs for Dorsey College. The Program Development Advisor will research, Identify, select, and secure new clinical affiliate sites for the program. Additionally, they may assist with core curriculum review and other needs as requested by the educational team.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Deliver signed affiliation (site) agreements between a site and Dorsey College to accommodate the required number of students. Sites must meet institutional and programmatic accreditation requirements.
  • Submit weekly progress reports to Dorsey College educational team.
  • Assist with core curriculum review and development as requested.
  • Assist with hiring with program staff and faculty as requested.
  • Meet face to face with Dorsey College educational team as requested.
  • Maintain professional etiquette in communications with students, staff, faculty, and administrators.
  • Demonstrate a professional commitment to the college mission and values.
  • Local travel to Dorsey College campuses and sites required.

KNOWLEDGE - SKILLS - ABILITIES:
  • Good organizational and multi-tasking skills.
  • Self-motivated and ability to perform without extensive direct supervision.
  • Strong interpersonal skills including effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work accurately and coordinate and accomplish a variety of tasks.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, and to interact effectively with colleagues, administrators and faculty members and students, as well as external constituencies.
  • Proficient computer skills.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Associate degree in respective field with at least 5 years of clinical experience. Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Certification in respective field.
  • At least one year of experience as an instructor in accredited program preferred.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to see, talk and hear.
