Customer Success & Learning Systems Supervisor
Position Summary
The Customer Success & Learning Systems supervisor provides leadership and coordination that focuses on the end users' success.ย The CSLS oversees the district's hardware and ensures a positive experience for all of our stakeholders.ย A special focus is placed on the student device program, student engagement, library media program, digital learning initiatives, artificial intelligence (AI) integration, and instructional technology. This position supports equitable access to information, technology, and innovative learning opportunities for all students and staff while promoting digital literacy and well-being, reading, media literacy, ethical AI use, and effective instructional practices across the district.
The Supervisor collaborates with district administrators, technology staff, librarians, library staff, teachers, and instructional coaches to ensure that library services, instructional technology, artificial intelligence initiatives, and student devices align with CRCSD's curriculum goals, strategic priorities, and responsible use expectations.
Salary: $75,000-$90,000
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Leadership and Program Coordination
- Provide district-wide leadership for Technology Help Desk, Field Support Staff, K12 library media services, digital learning initiatives, and AI integration.
- Coordinates CRCSD's student computer use. Including the development of a student computer taskforce, to look at District provided student computers.
- Manage the Help Desk, Technology Facilitator, and Technology Integration personnel.
- Oversee enterprise CRM/helpdesk solutions; including call handling, issue troubleshooting, incident tracking, and issue escalation.
- Ensure project work is complete and within budget.
- Develop and implement a shared vision for library services, digital literacy, instructional technology, artificial intelligence, and student access to resources.
- Plan professional learning for library staff, and collaborate with supervisor for networking on professional learning for technology staff.
- Coordinate and support district library staff and library programming.
- Chair Instructional Resources Reconsideration Committee.
- Collaborate with curriculum leaders and instructional coaches to integrate technology, information literacy, computational thinking, and AI literacy into teaching and learning.
- Promote innovative instructional practices including makerspaces, media creation, podcasting, 3D printing, coding, robotics, artificial intelligence, and digital collaboration tools.
- Lead district initiatives related to digital literacy and well-being, media literacy, ethical AI use, and responsible technology use.
- Facilitate district committees and stakeholder groups related to digital learning, AI implementation, and library services.
- Monitor emerging trends in artificial intelligence and educational technology and provide recommendations aligned with CRCSD goals and student learning needs.
- Oversee cell phone contract/distribution
Student/Staff Device Program
- Coordinate CRCSD's student device initiative, including deployment, collection, inventory, replacement, and lifecycle planning.
- Develop and maintain procedures related to student device distribution and return processes.
- Collaborate with CRCSD's technology staff regarding device imaging, repairs, warranties, filtering systems, cybersecurity practices, and asset management.
- Assist in developing and communicating policies related to acceptable use, AI use expectations, student responsibility, digital literacy and well-being, cybersecurity, and device care.
- Coordinate student and staff training related to proper device use, digital literacy and well-being, cybersecurity awareness, and responsible AI use.
- Analyze device usage data and program effectiveness to support continuous improvement.
- Support equitable student access to devices, connectivity, digital resources, and AI learning opportunities.
- Oversee EMBI program and all warranty work
- Test software applications, create and deploy software packages and routine updates to endpoints
- Coordinate and lead device distribution and collection
- Manage replacement cycles for all hardware devices
Artificial Intelligence Leadership
- Assist in the development, implementation, and review of district policies, procedures, and guidelines related to artificial intelligence use by students and staff.
- Collaborate with district leadership and technology staff to address issues related to AI ethics, privacy, academic integrity, copyright, data security, and responsible use.
- Provide leadership in developing age-appropriate AI literacy skills and instructional opportunities for students.
- Support teachers in integrating AI tools responsibly and effectively into classroom instruction.
- Develop and facilitate professional learning opportunities for staff related to AI tools, instructional applications, prompt design, productivity, ethical considerations, and emerging trends.
- Curate and evaluate AI tools and platforms for instructional effectiveness, accessibility, privacy compliance, and alignment with district goals.
- Support students and staff in understanding the strengths, limitations, and ethical implications of artificial intelligence technologies.
Library Media Services
- Coordinate selection, evaluation, circulation, and management of print and digital library resources.
- Ensure library collections support curriculum standards, student interests, diverse perspectives, digital literacy, and equitable access.
- Coordinate digital databases, movie licensing, eBooks, audiobooks, online research tools, and AI-supported information resources.
- Support instruction in research skills, information evaluation, media literacy, and ethical use of information and AI-generated content.
- Support library and curriculum resources cataloging processes, inventory processes, and library and curriculum resources management software.
- Assist in developing policies and procedures related to library operations and resource challenges.
- Coordinate district-wide literacy and reading engagement initiatives.
Digital Learning and Instructional Technology
- Support effective integration of instructional technology tools, digital resources, and AI-supported learning platforms.
- Provide professional development for teachers and staff related to instructional technology, artificial intelligence, digital tools, media literacy, blended learning, and digital citizenship.
- Evaluate and recommend digital instructional resources and educational technology platforms.
- Collaborate with the technology department to support instructional software implementation, AI platform management, and troubleshooting.
- Support implementation of learning management systems, digital productivity tools, and instructional applications.
- Promote equitable and accessible technology practices for all learners.
Communication and Collaboration
- Serve as a liaison between curriculum, library, and technology departments.
- Communicate effectively with students, families, staff, and community stakeholders regarding digital learning initiatives, AI implementation, and library services.
- Support grant opportunities and partnerships related to literacy, technology, innovation, and artificial intelligence education.
- Prepare reports, presentations, policy recommendations, and program updates for district leadership and the CRCSD Board of Education.
- Work with vendors on maintenance and purchasing of new technology
- Maintain accurate inventory records
- Facilitate ISAPs testing tech support
- Communicate, monitor, and demonstrate compliance with district policies.ย
Qualifications
Required
- An associates degree and related experience equal to 7 years preferred, OR Bachelors degree and 5 years experience
- Minimum of three years of successful educational experience.
- Demonstrated experience with instructional technology integration, digital learning, and emerging technologies.
- Knowledge of library media programs, digital resources, and AI applications in education.
- Strong organizational, communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
Preferred
- Master's degree in Library Science, Educational Technology, Instructional Technology, Educational Leadership, or related field.
- Valid teaching license.
- Minimum of three years of successful educational experience.
- School Library Endorsement and/or Instructional Technology endorsement.
- Experience managing or supporting a 1:1 device initiative.
- Experience providing professional development to adult learners.
- Knowledge of student data privacy laws, AI ethics, digital citizenship, cybersecurity, and educational technology systems.
- Administrative or leadership experience in K12 education.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to move and transport technology equipment and instructional materials.
- Ability to work at a computer for extended periods of time.
- Ability to travel between district buildings.
Terms of Employment
- Contract Length: 12-month position
- Salary and benefits established by the Board of Education and district policies.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read, analyze, interpret, and implement ideas contained in technical documents,
reports, regulations, etc. Ability to effectively write reports and communications to
administrators, colleagues, parents, students, and staff. Ability to effectively present information
orally and respond to questions from administrators, teachers, staff, and students.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to perform basic mathematical functions. Ability to use spreadsheets and reporting
documents that assist with the computation of data.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to solve problems effectively. Ability to interpret and implement a variety of instructions
furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with administrators, colleagues,

The noise level in the work environment is often quiet, but may become loud in large group

but will be required to work occasionally in outdoor environments.
