Century Martial Arts is seeking a friendly, organized, and customer-focused professional to join our team as a Customer Experience Professional | Customer Service Representative

In this role, you will help new and developing wholesale customers learn about Century products, place orders, resolve account questions, and grow their business relationships with us. Our customers include martial arts schools, retailers, fitness businesses, and sporting goods organizations.

This is a service-first position—not a high-pressure or commission-only sales role. Success comes from building trust, following up consistently, providing helpful product information, and creating an excellent customer experience.

Experience in martial arts is not required. We welcome candidates from customer service, retail, hospitality, inside sales, account support, fitness, and similar customer-facing backgrounds. Product and industry training will be provided.

What You’ll DoCustomer Relationships and Account Support
  • Welcome and support new wholesale customers as they establish their accounts.
  • Follow up with customers to answer questions, encourage engagement, and support account growth.
  • Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate products or solutions.
  • Assist customers with product availability, pricing, promotions, orders, and account questions.
  • Enter, review, and manage customer orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Help resolve billing, shipping, tracking, return, and order-related concerns.
  • Maintain accurate customer information, communication notes, and account records.
  • Keep customers informed and provide timely, professional follow-up.
  • Support customer outreach campaigns, promotions, and sales initiatives.
  • Contact prospective or inactive customers as assigned.
  • Assist with trade shows, company events, or customer programs as needed.
  • Stay informed about Century products, services, promotions, and industry trends.
  • Share customer feedback and potential sales opportunities with the appropriate team members.
  • Meet established customer service, follow-up, order accuracy, and account-support expectations.

The successful candidate will be:

  • Friendly, professional, and comfortable communicating with different types of customers.
  • Customer-focused and motivated by helping others succeed.
  • Organized, accurate, and attentive to details.
  • Dependable, responsive, and consistent with follow-through.
  • Comfortable making and receiving customer phone calls.
  • Positive, coachable, and willing to learn.
  • Comfortable recommending products and discussing promotions without using high-pressure sales tactics.
  • Able to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Basic computer proficiency, including email and data entry.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to accurately enter and maintain customer and order information.
  • Ability to communicate professionally by phone, email, and text.
  • Ability to work the required onsite Monday–Friday schedule.

Preferred Qualifications

  • One or more years of experience in customer service, retail, hospitality, inside sales, account support, call center service, or a related customer-facing position.
  • Experience processing orders or maintaining customer account records.
  • Experience using customer relationship management, order-entry, or business software.
  • Experience with outbound customer communication, account follow-up, or lead engagement.
  • Experience resolving billing, shipping, product, or order-related concerns.
  • Interest in martial arts, sporting goods, fitness, or related industries.
  • Martial arts experience is helpful but not required.
