Job description

LP Propane is currently seeking a Seasonal Customer Service Representative to help with our busy Fall and Winter Seasons. We are a local propane delivery company. We have been servicing customers in Southeastern Idaho since 1992. We service and install tanks ranging from 100 to 60,000 gallons. This position is responsible for order processing, customer service, front desk duties, and maintaining accounts receivable.
The Customer Service Representative will primarily be focused on:
  • Receive and process propane orders via phone or walk-ins.
  • Handle front desk responsibilities or directing calls, walk-ins, and customers to the appropriate parties within the Company.
  • Relay propane orders and all pertinent information to drivers.
  • Assist customers with billing and account questions.
  • Ensure accurate data collection for customers and internal processes.
  • Inventory tracking and order processing.
  • Monitor customer accounts and contact past-due customers.
  • Ensure regular adequate payments for Level Pay customers.
  • Collect and enter new customer information.
  • Manage the billing and collection of the tank rental process.

The preferred candidate for the Customer Service Representative will have the following:
  • One or more years' experience in office management, customer service, accounting, or a related area.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Strong computer skills and sound understanding of Office.
  • Able to learn company systems and processes.
  • Adheres to the company's values and ethical expectations.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
