Job description

The Production supervisor guides and supervise the production of the molded door skin facility. The Production supervisor is responsible for overseeing the production of goods with the goal of providing our customer with a quality, cost competitive, environmentally friendly product in a safe and timely manner. Areas of responsibility will include chip handling, energy plant, refining, drying, pressing, board trimming and coating operations. This is a 24/7 continuous operation and will require an openness to shift work with rotating days off. 12 Hour continental shift, rotating from days to nights required.

The production supervisor is responsible for safety production, equipment, and his employees whilst on the designated shift. Specific responsibilities will vary as the need arises, but include supporting, monitoring and improving production and quality.

Shift supervisor also must drive a high level of positive culture, liaising with other team members, including interacting with managers and supervisors of different areas of the organization, presenting findings to management and owners as well astraining, supervising and mentoring other team members.
