Description:

The Weekend Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily pharmaceutical manufacturing operations to ensure the safe, efficient, and compliant production of high-quality products. This role supervises production staff, monitors performance against production schedules, enforces compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), and drives continuous improvement initiatives. The Production Supervisor serves as a key link between production staff and management, ensuring alignment of operations with company goals and regulatory requirements

Requirements:

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

· Supervise daily manufacturing operations, including staff scheduling, workflow coordination, and production line oversight.

· Ensure all activities are performed in compliance with cGMP, FDA, EMA, ICH, and other applicable regulatory standards.

· Train, coach, and mentor production staff to ensure proper execution of manufacturing processes and adherence to SOPs.

· Monitor production schedules, resource usage, and output to meet production goals and timelines.

· Review and approve batch records, logs, and other production documentation for accuracy and completeness.

· Partner with Quality Assurance and Quality Control to resolve deviations, discrepancies, and OOS (out-of-specification) results.

· Support investigations, CAPAs (Corrective and Preventive Actions), and root cause analysis related to production activities.

· Promote and enforce safety practices, maintaining a clean and compliant manufacturing environment.

· Recommend and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize resource utilization.

· Ensure equipment is maintained in a validated, calibrated, and operational state.

· Serve as point of contact during audits, inspections, and cross-functional meetings regarding production activities.
