Broad Function: Applies thorough knowledge of manufacturing processes and practices related to identifying and prioritizing production requirements and coordinating the flow of materials, parts, and assemblies to meet production schedules. Incumbent must be able to train on 1st shift.

Shift times are 3 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.

This position is located at 6457 Fly Rd, East Syracuse, NY 13057.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prioritize sales orders, enter jobs electronically on engineering screen and forward sales orders to engineering for every job transferred to the engineering screen

  • Generate and issue daily production schedule to Supervisors and Production Manager

  • Prioritize and update electronic tracking system for production

  • Update Sales Department on all engineering, processing or manufacturing issues with jobs

  • Reschedule ship dates when necessary

  • Enter and issue all sub-contracting purchase orders for sales department

  • Maintain a log of all sub-contracting purchase orders and update and print sub-contracting purchase orders to shipping

  • Create an end of the month report showing dollar figures broken up by categories of requirements for Management

  • Log, distribute and return MRB's (material review board) to engineering and hold MRB meeting upon MRB committee's request

  • Reconcile open orders report and report past due dollars to management

  • Maintain internal and corporate on time delivery reports

Essential Knowledge and Skills:

  • Must be able to communicate effectively to all levels or management and notify appropriate partied of issues and/or upcoming timeframes and deadlines.

  • Understanding of product flow as outlined on Critical Ship List and Month End List.

  • Ability to work in a team environment, assist other departments when workloads demand it, and effectively work with all levels of the organization.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills.

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required

  • Bachelor of Science in Business or APICS certification is preferred.

  • Four (4) years' experience in Production Control work is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits:

TTM offers a variety of health and well-being benefit programs. Benefits are available on the 1st of the month following date of hire. For some positions, only PTO and holiday benefits are offered.

Compensation ranges for roles at TTM Technologies varies depending on a wide array of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At TTM Technologies, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on each individual set of circumstances. A reasonable estimate of the current range is:

$45,354 - $71,688

Additional compensation: An annual or quarterly company bonus may apply based on position assignment. Positions hired for alternative shift may be eligible for a shift premium based on the assigned shift and location.
