Job description

• Responsible for Inventory Control including verification of inventory amounts for mass production, service and new model, in accordance with customer/production demand and supplier/internal capacity.(includes but not limited to:raw material, component, product, supplies, power equipment, packaging)• Obtain, organize and analyze data from multiple sources to provide forecast to the plant for resource planning.• Develop and maintain relationship with customers, and monitor and react to demand changes. • Develop and maintain relationship with suppliers, and monitor and control supplier activities. • Develop and maintain relationship with the team, closely coodinating with appropriate personnel. • Coordinate and process engineering change instruction (ECI), and associated ramp up / build out activities.• Identify opportunities to reduce overall cost and manhour needed within the department and implement.• Identify opportunities to improve accuracy of output from the department and implement. • Perform all duties in conformance to appropriate safety, security and quality standards. • All other reasonably related tasks within the Company as required by Management.
• Associates degree or equivalent experience preferred.• Two years of prior applicable experience in Production Control preferred.• Automotive experience preferred.
