Job description

Position Overview

We are seeking an Entry-Level Production Specialist to support production planning, material inventory management, production scheduling, and day-to-day manufacturing operations.

This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career professional looking to develop a career in manufacturing and production management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the day-to-day operation of the Production Department.

  • Support production scheduling and production control activities.

  • Monitor production rates and progress.

  • Track material inventory and material usage.

  • Prepare and maintain production status reports.

  • Assist with production schedules and work orders.

  • Communicate production schedules to appropriate team members.

  • Support the purchasing of materials and services.

  • Analyze production processes and identify opportunities for improvement.

  • Prepare reports and recommendations related to production performance.

  • Verify inventory information as needed.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date information in the SAP system.

  • Coordinate with Production Management and other departments.

  • Participate in department and company meetings.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.

  • 1–2 years of manufacturing experience preferred, but not required.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.

  • Ability to gather, analyze, and communicate information effectively.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • SAP experience preferred.

  • Manufacturing or production planning experience is a plus.
