Job description

The Operations Control Coordinator plays a key role in managing and optimizing production processes within a large team environment. This position involves extensive collaboration across departments to ensure seamless workflow, effective resource allocation, and adherence to quality standards. Utilizing ERP and custom in-house software, the coordinator oversees scheduling, inventory, and documentation to support efficient manufacturing operations, particularly in sheet metal production. Other duties designated by VP of Operations - you will work closely with this department.


Responsibilities

  • Schedule production activities to meet operational targets
  • Monitor Inventory and coordinate with purchasing
  • Oversee workflow coordination and ensure smooth process transitions
  • Monitor quality control standards to maintain product excellence
  • Allocate resources efficiently to optimize production capacity
  • Generate and analyze production data reports
  • Identify and implement process improvements
  • Serve as communication liaison between production and other departments
  • Maintain accurate and organized documentation
  • Utilize computer skills to manage production control systems
  • Apply knowledge specific to sheet metal manufacturing processes


Required Qualifications
