Production Artist (Apparel & Licensed Merchandise) - Remote

We are looking for a detail-oriented Production Artist with experience preparing print-ready artwork for apparel, licensed merchandise, and consumer products.

This is not a traditional graphic design role. We're specifically looking for someone who understands production workflows, technical layouts, file preparation, and the requirements needed to take artwork from concept to manufacturing.

What You'll Be Doing

Prepare production-ready artwork for apparel and licensed merchandise.
Create and maintain organized Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop files.
Develop technical layouts, print specifications, and artwork packages for production.
Ensure files meet print requirements, including color separations, bleed, placement specifications, and production standards.
Work closely with design and production teams to execute revisions and maintain brand consistency.
Follow style guides and approval requirements for licensed products.
Support screen printing, DTG, embroidery, and other apparel decoration methods.

What We're Looking For

Experience as a Production Artist, Apparel Graphic Artist, Technical Designer, or similar role.
Advanced proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
Strong understanding of print production workflows and file preparation.
Experience creating:

  • Technical layouts

  • Production specifications

  • Print-ready files

  • Color separations

  • Art proofs
    Strong attention to detail and file organization.
    Ability to work from feedback, markups, and style guides.

Portfolio Requirements (Important)

Please include examples of:
Technical production layouts
Print-ready artwork
Apparel production files
Adobe Illustrator (.AI) or Photoshop (.PSD) working files

Candidates with only branding, social media, or marketing portfolios may not be considered. We are specifically seeking individuals with hands-on production artwork experience.
