Description

The Production Artist is responsible for designing, recreating, cleaning, and editing client supplied artwork with the appropriate software application. The Lead Production Artist reports to Production Graphics Supervisor.

Abilities Required

  • Advanced knowledge and vector experience with Adobe Illustrator CC 2015 (and above).
  • Read & understand English.
  • Be familiar with industry language and terminology.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with co-workers and clients via phone and digital communication.
  • Time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to operate under pressure and time constraints.

Specific Responsibilities

  • Create design proofs within 24-28 hours and get client approval.
  • Create design separations.
  • Create and build online stores, flyers, catalogs, custom apparel packages.
  • Check client and internal ordering portals constantly throughout the day to stay informed on incoming and updated orders.
  • Update CRM database.
  • Track job time spent on ScoreCards.

Key Performance Indicators

  • Consistently showing up for work on time and putting in extra time when required
  • Maintain great communication between art department, pre-production, and production department. (Survey Results)
  • Artwork turnaround times between 24 - 48 hours.
