What does a Previs Artist do?

A Previsualization (Previs) Artist creates rough 3D animations to plan out scenes before full production. They help directors and cinematographers visualize camera angles, movement, timing, and composition. To thrive as a Previs Artist, you need a solid foundation in 3D animation, cinematography, and visual storytelling, often supported by a degree in animation, film, or a related field.
