Department OverviewThe Unified Communication Products organization is focused on designing and delivering communications solutions that empower businesses to work more efficiently and effectively. The Unified Communications Product Management team has the ownership of delivering broadband powered / centered Push-To-Talk devices and solutions to our customers for driving their business critical needs. This team owns and manages individual products in the portfolio through their lifecycle, starting from definition, planning, delivery, continuity and all the way to sunset/cancellation.
Job Description

This role will be doing some or all of the following: Develop new products and features - Defining the 'why', 'what,' 'where', and 'when' of the product or feature that the development team will build. Leading cross-functional teams from product's conception through its launch and maintenance

Job Description

  • The Product Manager will be responsible for

    • Analyzing the market and competitive environment and using it to drive and deliver unique value to our customers through our products

    • Plan and execute Voice of Customer/Partners/Sales to obtain feedback on market needs and what features add value to the product and portfolio

    • Be proactive to ensure solutions are well positioned and perceived

    • Develop the Business Case and Forecast for the product, including financial analysis to determine whether the project makes business sense

    • Define the product requirements and work with Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Services and other stakeholders through the product definition and development process

    • Plan and conduct Customer Touch Points, Alphas and Betas with customers to obtain feedback and validation throughout the development process

    • Work closely with Sales, Marketing and Training teams to develop the go to market strategy, ordering mechanism as well as marketing and training materials

    • Support Sales with launch, promotion and other Go to Market activities

    • Define the product's support, repair and service strategy working with the service team

    • Work with internal stakeholders to identify upsell/cross sell opportunities to improve the overall customer experience

    • Look holistically at hardware, software and services to drive value proposition of the product

    • Seek out external partnerships to identify product integration opportunities.

Target Base Salary Range: $98,100 - $150,200 USD

Consistent with Motorola Solutions values and applicable law, we provide the following information to promote pay transparency and equity. Pay within this range varies and depends on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The actual offer will be based on the individual candidate.
