Position Summary

 

We are seeking an experienced Product Manager – Power Electronics & Thermal Systems to lead product strategy, roadmap development, and lifecycle execution for advanced power and thermal technologies in the North American market.

This role requires a strong blend of technical depth in power electronics, strong commercial judgment, and the ability to influence cross-functional teams across engineering, sales, applications, and global stakeholders.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Own product strategy, product roadmap, and lifecycle management for power and/or thermal product lines.
  • Act as the product champion internally and externally, supporting customer engagement, channel strategy, and market adoption.
  • Identify market needs, customer pain points, competitive landscape, and growth opportunities.
  • Develop Go-To-Market strategies, business cases, and pricing models to drive revenue and profitability.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, sales, applications, and leadership teams to ensure alignment and successful execution.
  • Drive innovation through industry engagement including trade events, partnerships, and professional networks.
  • Support industrial customer segments such as HVACR, logistics, automation, food & beverage, material handling, and manufacturing.
 

Must-Have Qualifications (Non-Negotiable)

✅ Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline
✅ 5+ years of Product Management experience in power and/or thermal solutions
✅ Strong technical understanding of power electronics, including:

  • AC/DC, DC/DC, DC/AC converters
  • Drives, chargers, and power conversion systems
    ✅ Strong understanding of thermal management technologies, such as:
  • EC fans, liquid cooling systems
  • Pumps, solenoids, heat exchangers
    ✅ Proven ability to conduct market research, analyze data, and develop business cases
    ✅ Strong cross-functional leadership experience working with engineering, sales, and global teams
    ✅ Excellent communication and presentation skills (technical + commercial audiences)
    ✅ Must be comfortable with 20–30% travel
    ✅ Must speak Mandarin/Chinese (required)
 

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Familiarity with industrial automation ecosystems including:
    • PLC / SCADA
    • Ethernet/IP, PROFINET, EtherCAT
  • Exposure to industries such as Appliance, Packaging, CNC, Off-Road, Oil & Gas, Energy, Utilities, Material Handling, and Manufacturing
  • Experience with VFDs, pumps, fans, liquid cooling, and motor drive-related product platforms
