Job description

Are you a technical strategist ready to transition from hand-on engineering to high-impact leadership role where you define the future of defense-grade hardware?  If so, we’re seeking a Product Manager to join a premier global provider of ruggedized, open-architecture computing solutions. This organization specializes in delivering high-performance, mission-critical hardware to the defense and industrial sectors.
In this role, you will leverage your expertise in mixed-signal systems and digital signal processing to define and execute a winning product strategy. You will serve as the commercial and technical anchor for a diverse portfolio of modular computing solutions, collaborating with engineering and sales to ensure your products exceed the demands of the modern high-performance embedded market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Formulate and execute the overarching commercial strategy for a suite of FPGA and RF-based hardware solutions.
  • Identify emerging market trends to build multi-year roadmaps that address the future needs of the defense community.
  • Analyze competitor offerings and modular form factors to maintain a clear technical and price advantage.
  • Build and present robust business cases for new hardware investments, securing approval from senior business leadership.
  • Orchestrate the full launch cycle of new technologies, ensuring cross-functional alignment from engineering to operations.
  • Support high-level customer engagements by acting as the technical subject matter expert for the product portfolio.
  • Generate high-impact technical content, training modules, and marketing collateral to drive product adoption.
  • Drive continuous product improvement by ensuring all solutions meet stringent ruggedization and reliability benchmarks.

Core Qualifications
  • B.S. in an Engineering discipline; a Master’s degree is preferred.
  • 7+ years of professional background within the FPGA, DSP, or embedded electronics industry.
  • Prior experience in a leadership role, either in product management or as a lead technical architect.
  • Practical understanding of RF and DSP theory and how it translates into physical hardware and system performance.
  • Familiarity with calculating and managing hardware tradeoffs, including intermodulation and signal-to-noise ratios.
  • Proven track record of taking complex product concepts from the design phase through to a successful market launch.
  • Experience interpreting and authoring requirements for high-stakes military and aerospace standards.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams without direct authority.
  • Knowledge of high-speed modular architectures and high-density mezzanine card standards.
  • Ability to work within export-controlled (ITAR) environments and handle sensitive defense information.

If you are a technical visionary who excels at turning hardware theory into a successful business strategy, we encourage you to apply. This position provides a high-impact opportunity to shape the technology used in global defense and industrial programs. Apply today by submitting your resume and a brief description of your product management background to Webster & Webster Associates.
