Job description

This position is intended to be hybrid in Vancouver.. It was posted showing Hybrid for Toronto to attract more applicants, but this position is for Vancouver meaning that relocation will be required if you are based out of Vancouver.

We're looking for a Product Manager with experience building self-serve, Product-Led Growth (PLG) B2B SaaS or marketplace products. You'll work directly with the founders to shape product strategy, prioritize opportunities, and lead cross-functional execution from concept through launch.

This is a highly hands-on role where you'll collaborate with engineering and design, leverage customer insights and product analytics, and continuously improve the user experience through experimentation. The ideal candidate understands how great products drive customer acquisition, activation, engagement, retention, and monetization in a self-serve environment.

Responsibilities

  • Partner closely with the founders to define product vision, strategy, and roadmap priorities.
  • Own product initiatives from discovery through launch and post-release optimization.
  • Translate customer needs into clear product requirements, user stories, and technical specifications.
  • Lead cross-functional execution with engineers and designers to deliver exceptional product experiences.
  • Conduct customer interviews and use feedback to identify opportunities and validate product decisions.
  • Analyze product usage data to uncover insights and guide roadmap prioritization.
  • Design and run experiments that improve onboarding, activation, engagement, retention, conversion, and monetization.
  • Define and track key product metrics and use data to measure success.
  • Balance competing priorities while keeping projects on schedule and stakeholders aligned.
  • Communicate product decisions, priorities, and progress clearly across technical and non-technical teams.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of Product Management experience.
  • Experience building self-serve B2B SaaS or marketplace products.
  • Experience working in Product-Led Growth (PLG) environments where the product is the primary driver of customer acquisition, adoption, and growth.
  • Experience owning products from idea through launch, iteration, and optimization.
  • Strong experience using product analytics tools such as Mixpanel, Amplitude, PostHog, or similar platforms.
  • Experience working closely with software engineers and product designers throughout the product development lifecycle.
  • Strong customer discovery, experimentation, and hypothesis validation experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Outstanding organizational, prioritization, and project management skills.
  • Comfortable working in ambiguity and making decisions in a fast-moving startup environment.
