What is the opportunity?

The Senior Manager, Relocation Management (Global Mobility) oversees a team responsible for global mobility advisory, policy, and administration for all Canada & US domestic, cross-border and international transfers and assignments. Working alongside Senior Managers in Immigration and Mobility Tax, this role will also contribute to the overall strategy of the Global Mobility Centre of Expertise (GM-COE) by being part of the Senior Management team reporting to the Senior Director and Head of the GM-COE.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership: You will lead and develop a team of strong professionals by fostering an inclusive, collaborative environment built on trust and transparency. You should be an experienced people leader who empowers your team through open communication, values diverse perspectives, and provides coaching and guidance that builds both capability and confidence. The ideal candidate brings proven experience creating an environment where team members feel empowered to contribute their best work and are supported in their professional growth.

Process Improvement & Change Management: You will evaluate and modernize legacy processes by implementing technology-driven solutions and leveraging vendor partnerships to replace manual workflows with standardized, scalable approaches. The ideal candidate excels at identifying inefficiencies, designing practical automation and technology solutions, and driving change initiatives that improve service delivery while bringing stakeholders along the journey. You should balance delivering quick wins with building sustainable, long-term process improvements that reduce manual effort and increase operational efficiency.

HR Partnership: Serves as trusted advisor to HR colleagues across all business segments; balances employee experience with business objectives; communicates with appropriate firmness while maintaining strong relationships; highly responsive to business needs within appropriate scope; sets clear expectations; maintains credibility by delivering on commitments.

Vendor & Third-Party Management: Manages Relocation Management Company (RMC) relationship, monitors and enforces SLAs; escalates strategically, identifies service issues and proactively drives resolution; balances cost, quality, and service delivery.

Skills and Qualifications

Required:

  • Post-secondary education with certificates or designations in HR, Global Mobility, or related field.

  • 7-10+ years of global mobility/relocation management experience within a complex global enterprise.

  • Proven experience managing international and domestic relocations at all levels (entry to senior executive).

  • Vendor/Relocation Management Company (RMC) contract management and relationship oversight.

  • Policy development and implementation experience.

  • Demonstrated experience leading and developing teams.

  • Exceptional diplomacy, tact, and discretion when handling sensitive employee matters and confidential information.

  • Proven ability to drive results efficiently and effectively with minimal disruption or organizational noise.

  • Strong organizational skills with excellent prioritization and time management capabilities.

  • Self-directed learner who quickly applies new knowledge and adapts to evolving business needs.

  • Independent leader and collaborative team player with genuine passion for global mobility.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.

  • French language proficiency is an asset.
