Visionary Electrical Solutions, an affiliate of USESI, is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Technical & Product Development Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will being a strong foundation in electrical products along with practical problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset. Highly detail-oriented, collaborative, and capable of translating complex technical requirements into clear, standardized solutions that support both execution and growth.
About the Role
The Technology & Product Development Manager is responsible for ensuring the technical accuracy, safety, and performance of prefabricated electrical solutions used in mission-critical and data center environments. This role serves as the internal technical authority, validating product configurations, supporting project requirements, and driving the development of standardized, scalable product solutions.
Compensation: $100,000 - 130,000 based on experience
Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the technical expert to ensure all products and configurations are accurate, safe, and aligned with customer requirements
  • Review customer specifications and RFQs to validate proper application and identify risks or gaps early
  • Establish and maintain product standards, including configuration rules, documentation, and quality expectations
  • Partner cross-functionally with sales, procurement, and operations to ensure technical and commercial alignment
  • Evaluate supplier quotes for completeness and accuracy, including all required components and options
  • Manage technical deviations, substitutions, and exceptions to ensure performance and reliability are not compromised
  • Oversee submittal package quality to reduce resubmittals and support project timelines
  • Monitor industry trends and translate insights into new product development opportunities
  • Support innovation efforts from concept through standardization and launch
  • Train internal teams on product standards and technical requirements

Required Qualifications:
  • Strong technical experience with electrical systems in data center or mission-critical environments
  • Proven ability to interpret requirements, validate configurations, and ensure safe application of products
  • Experience working cross-functionally with sales, procurement, and operations or manufacturing teams
  • Strong attention to detail with a high level of documentation discipline

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with prefabricated electrical assemblies or manufacturing processes
  • Familiarity with mission-critical environments, including strict documentation and quality expectations
  • Experience developing standardized products, configuration rules, or scalable technical frameworks
