To pursue a career as a product development manager, you need at least a bachelor’s degree in marketing, product design, industrial design, or industrial engineering and significant experience in product development jobs. You need an understanding of market research and statistics as well as how to analyze and apply that data to product design and development. You need strong leadership and communication skills as you must work with clients and teams of marketers and product developers on a daily basis.
