What is product delivery?

Product delivery refers to the process of transporting a finished product from the supplier or manufacturer to the end customer. This involves coordinating logistics, managing inventory, and ensuring timely and accurate shipment. Product delivery professionals work to optimize delivery routes, handle customer inquiries, and resolve any issues that arise during the shipping process. Their goal is to ensure that customers receive their products efficiently and in good condition.

Job description

Job Title: Product Delivery Specialist
Location: Fayetteville, Arkansas
Job Type: Full-Time
Compensation: $14 โ€“ $16 per hour (based on experience)

Join a Trusted Name in Automotive Excellence โ€“ Since 1946

Lewis Automotive Group, proudly family-owned and serving Northwest Arkansas for 79 years, is seeking a Product Delivery Specialist to join our dedicated team in Fayetteville. Known for our commitment to exceptional service and community values, weโ€™re looking for someone who can help us make the vehicle delivery experience as seamless and memorable as the sale itself.

About the Role:

As a Product Delivery Specialist, youโ€™ll be the final step in the car-buying journeyโ€”delivering vehicles directly to customers, ensuring they're completely satisfied, and explaining everything they need to know about their new vehicle. If you enjoy working with people, love cars, and take pride in attention to detail, this is the perfect opportunity to build a long-term career with a trusted local company.

What Youโ€™ll Do:
  • Safely deliver vehicles to customer homes or workplaces.

  • Conduct thorough pre-delivery inspections (clean, fueled, damage-free).

  • Verify and complete all necessary vehicle documentation.

  • Walk customers through key features, controls, and vehicle functions.

  • Answer any questions and ensure customers feel confident with their new car.

  • Assist with paperwork including registration, financing, and insurance.

  • Communicate clearly with customers to confirm delivery times and expectations.

  • Coordinate with sales and service departments to ensure smooth handoffs.

  • Perform minor maintenance checks (e.g., tire pressure, fluid levels).

  • Follow up post-delivery to address any issues and encourage customer feedback.

What You Bring to the Table:

Required Skills & Abilities:

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.

  • Detail-oriented and organized.

  • Dependable, punctual, and professional.

  • Basic computer skills for document processing and CRM updates.

  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.

  • Valid driverโ€™s license and clean driving record.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of experience in customer service, delivery, or a related role.

  • Familiarity with vehicle features and handling a plus.

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (required).

Work Environment & Schedule:
  • Standard dealership hours, with flexibility for evenings or weekends.

  • Must be comfortable working outdoors and driving in all weather conditions.

  • Physical requirements include standing, lifting lightweight items, and extended driving.

Why Join Lewis Automotive Group?
  • Family-Owned & Operated: Be part of a company that values people over profits.

  • Longstanding Reputation: Join a team thatโ€™s been serving the community with integrity for nearly 8 decades.

  • Room to Grow: Opportunities for advancement within a supportive team environment.

  • Competitive Pay: $14โ€“$16 per hour based on experience and performance.

Ready to help us deliver more than just vehiclesโ€”but exceptional customer experiences?
Apply today and become part of the Lewis Automotive family.
