Job description

The Procurement Coordinator is primarily responsible for managing the local Procurement process in accordance with established Crystal Clean procedures and policies. This role facilitates Procurement activities from Supplier qualification through performance management and will be responsible for all related supplier onboarding activities as well as assuring compliance with all governmental regulations, company policies and acceptable business practices. The Coordinator develops effective working relationships with Facility Operations and acts as guide for all contractual rights and procurement procedures.
Essential Functions
  • Manage the Purchasing inbox, ensuring timely, accurate, and professional responses to inquiries from internal stakeholders.
  • Administer the P-Card program in accordance with company policy, including monitoring usage, resolving issues, and escalating compliance concerns immediately.
  • Oversee Egencia travel platform administration, monitoring hotel, airline, and overall travel spend, and providing recommendations to support cost savings and policy adherence.
  • Owns vendor onboarding and qualification process
  • Compiling data for preparing cost reporting.
  • Participate in Corporate Procurement meetings and conference calls as required

Education & Essential Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree and at least 2 years of experience in procurement, purchasing or a related function OR a High School Diploma/GED and at least 5 years of experience in procurement, purchasing or a related function.
  • Intermediate skill level in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Supply Chain, Accounting, or a related field
  • Experience working cross functionally with Finance, Operations, Sales, IT, or HR teams preferred

Work Environment: While performing essential duties of this position an individual regularly works indoors in an office setting and may be required to sit for long periods. Individual will be required to regularly talk, hear, see and often reach with hands, stand, walk, use a computer keyboard, mouse, telephone, and other office equipment. Noise level of the environment is generally quiet.
